Meeting on Feb 3, 2019

Meeting Announcement

As part of an ongoing effort to draw Cul-cah-endes back to their roots and strengthen kinship ties, the leadership of the band has called a meeting of the extended community on Sunday, afternoon, February 3rd, at the Water Society public meeting room in El Mulato. The main purpose of the meeting will be to allot homesteads to all of the enrolled families who are present and do not already have one. Your family does not have to reside in the ejido but it must be enrolled in the band to be eligible. To enroll, you must present proof you descend from one of the families who lived on Hacienda Tapacolmes in 1880 and pay your $20 annual family membership dues to Saul Galindo, President. You can do this at his home on Loma de Juarez at the Y to Palomas and Los Quiroz before the meeting or at the Water Society just before the meeting. For more details, email Oscar Rodriguez at

or post on this meeting's thread at the Lipan Apache Tribal Facebook page.
