Minutes of Special-Called Meeting held at
the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas Museum and
Culture Center, Corpus Christi, TX on Aug. 15, 2009
Before a quorum could be determined and the meeting called to order,
General Council Secretary Locinda Landry set up a video tape machine
and tape recorder. The Chairman requested that Ms. Landry take the
Minutes by hand, a practice which was customary and which had always
been done by prior Secretaries and by Ms. Landry. Instead of discussing
the matter, Ms. Landry said she was leaving. She left the meeting room
and did not return. Because of her actions, the Council went into
Executive Session. Under Robert's Rules of Order, Minutes of
Executive Session are not published.
