Silent Auction October 21 to November 4, 2022
Spring Nde Daa Homecoming Pow Wow Fundraiser

August 31, 2022

Dear Tribe members and friends,

For over fifty years, the Lipan Apache tribe community have gathered twice annually during the spring and fall times at our sacred social gatherings or pow wows. Our pow wows are celebrations where our members can socialize, reconnect, dance, sing, learn, and honor our cultural traditions and sacred history. Staff are not paid to work on the pow wows; all work is by volunteers. In recent years, we have also opened our pow wows to the non-Native public as a means of raising our tribe’s visibility in the Texas area, as well as to educate them on our dynamic culture and to build valuable relationships. But putting on a pow wow is expensive. Our Nde Daa (Spring) Homecoming Pow Wow on March 4, 2023, is estimated to cost $10,000 and we need your help in raising these funds for this free event.

This fall, the Lipan Apache Tribe is hosting a virtual silent auction from October 21 to November 4 and we would like to invite you to be involved. Here’s how you can help:
  1. Direct sponsorship from your organization:
    1. Donate items that can be used for auction. This is a great opportunity to not only support Indigenous scholars, but also to build brand awareness with a new, potentially untapped market.
    2. Connect us with other potential Sponsors.
  2. Donations:
    1. Monetary donations (click our "Donate" tab above for our donation page)
    2. Challenge your collaborators and followers to match your donations.
All donations and auction funds will go toward our $10K fundraising goal for the 2023 Nde Daa Homecoming Pow Wow.

Please email us at us directly at to let us know what you would like to donate and provide details.

Thank you in advance for your support!
