In March 26, 2026, representatives from the Lipan Apache Tribe attended the
Office of the Governor Public Safety Office's STOP (VAWA) Implementation Planning Committee Meeting.
Attending the meeting were Dr. Hermelinda Ryan Walking Woman (tribal administrator)
and Violet Soto-Mettlach (Tribe's Rehabilitation Specialist).
